Target Audience

So after completing some research into audience theories and how they can be defined, we have decided to complete some audience research which will consists of a number of aspects of a music video to see the wants and needs of our target audience. We are going to create a questionnaire in which we are gaining quantitative data which will be basic and easy to analyse in a generalising way. This will give us a basic understanding to research further. It will list some generic conventions and ideas to see which ones are best suited to our audience creating them the ideal music video. Some of the things we are going to ask them will be to do with:
• Gender
• Age
• Music genre
• Use of colour
• Artists

The first thing we are going to do is create a questionnaire which will create the basis of our target audience.
